Haeison Romero

I'm a street photographer with American and Hispanic roots, born in San Francisco and raised in Melbourne where I learned to love coffee, whinge about the weather and find beauty in the everyday chaos. People have always fascinated me. The way they move, the odd things they do when they think no one’s watching, the little sparks of personality that flash in a split second. That’s what I chase with my camera.

My style is fast, loose and full of surprises. I often shoot with off-camera flash, mostly because I like the way it makes everything feel a bit more alive and a bit less staged. Street photography started as my way of stepping out of the grind of running a tech consulting business. Now it's the thing that keeps me sane. It lets me stop thinking for a while and start noticing again.

If you want to get like my work, hit me up on IG: streetstyle.melbourne
